Montgomery County residents who love the outdoors will be able to begin 2024 on the trails.

 

The Independence Chamber of Commerce is teaming up with Elk City State Park for a New Year's hiking and biking excursion.

 

Chamber President Lisa Wilson says there are multiple opportunities to participate.

 

The event is free to the public, and it is recommended to arrive 20-30 minutes before the hike or bike ride.
