USD 446 is looking for full-time certified teachers for next school year.

 

The district is currently receiving applications for a high school Industrial Technology teacher for the 2024-25 school year, as well as a Science and Math teacher at Independence Middle School.

 

Applicants should either hold or be eligible for a valid Kansas teaching license. Those interested in the positions can fill out the online application HERE.

 

Additional items of business at the December board meeting was a report from Superintendent Jason McAfee, information regarding the January Board Appreciation dinner, and the recognition of board member Melissa Small for her service to the district.

 

USD 446 meets on the second Monday of each month at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of Independence High School.
