USD 445 will open up an application process to fill the vacant spot of the seventh board member position. Superintendent Dr. Craig Correll says applications will be due on January 1st and the new member will be approved at the meeting on January 8th.
The candidate will be filling the position left open by the passing of Dr. Jerry Hamm, which has two years left on the term. The board unanimously approved this method for filling the vacancy. In other business, the board heard from High School Principal Travis Stalford on graduation rates and post-secondary success.
