Busy Holiday Weekend in Edna

It was hard to find a parking spot this weekend in downtown Edna.

Crowds lined the street as the parade went through town, and there was no shortage of candy. Led and organized by the Edna Volunteer Fire Department, the parade also featured the Labette County High School Band combined with Junior High students, lots of local organizations and businesses, K-State Research and Extension, Labette County Community College and KGGF to name a few. After the parade, kids met with Santa in the lobby of the Edna Community Building, where a large craft fair also took place. Vendors were on hand selling all kinds of homemade items. The Edna Historical Museum in the old First National Bank building was also open for visitors.
