Saint Andrew Catholic Church in Independence invites the public to Christmas dinner.

 The Independence Community Christmas Dinner will take place this Sunday and will feature a free turkey dinner with all the trimmings. The entire community is invited to attend, especially those who have no loved ones to share the holiday with. Senior citizens, families, and individuals who would benefit from a free, home-cooked meal are encouraged to attend and share in the spirit of the holiday season. There will also be a free winter clothing give-away and Santa will have toys for all children who attend. The dinner will be held Sunday from 11am to 1pm at the St. Andrew Parish Center at 420 east Myrtle in Independence.
