A two vehicle accident in Neosho County leaves one man with serious injuries.

 Just before 3pm yesterday afternoon, a 2020 Ford F350 driven by 53 year old Calvin Kendall of Erie was driving northbound on US 59 about 9 miles north of Parsons. Kendall slowed to make a left turn when 51 year old Robert Hanson of Sugar Creek, Missouri, attempted to pass. Hanson's 2015 Jeep Wrangler then struck the F 350. Hanson sustained serious injuries and was taken to Freeman West Hospital in Joplin for treatment. Kendall and his passenger, 50 year old Andrew Eck of Redfield, were both uninjured. All three men were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident.
