The State of Kansas ends November with total tax collections below estimates.
Total collections end at just over $649.5 million, 2.1%, below the estimate, but up 1.1% from November 2022.
Individual income tax collections were $291.8 million, 3.5%, below the estimate, and down 0.2% from November of last year. Corporate income tax collections were $35.5 million, 41.5%, higher than the estimate and up 168% from November last year.
Combined retail sales and compensating use tax receipts were $291 million, 4.7%, below estimate and down 4.5%, from November 2022.
