Two Independence men are arrested on theft charges after being caught on camera.

Montgomery County dispatch received a call from a property owner south of Independence saying they were watching on camera two men removing items from their property. Deputies responded to the location and saw two men loading scrap metal into the bed of a truck. The men were identified as Anthony Rodgers and Jesus Barraza-Aris.

Both were transported to the Montgomery County Department of Corrections. Rogers is facing charges of criminal trespassing and theft and Barraza-Aris is facing charges of criminal trespassing, theft and possession of methamphetamine.
