Kansas anglers prepare for a new trout season.
Trout season in Kansas begins today and runs through March 31st . Le Clere Lake in Coffeyville has been stocked with 315 rainbow trout, for a total of 423 pounds of fish. Kansas residents ages 16 to 74 and non residents 16 or older wishing to fish will need a valid fishing license and a Trout Permit. Kids 15 or younger only need a Youth Trout Permit.
