One man is dead after a head-on collision in Neosho County.

 68 year old Danny Romine of Chanute was traveling eastbound on K39 just East of Chanute just after 10pm last night, when his vehicle – a 2007 Toyota Carolla – crossed the center line. It struck a 2020 Freightliner semi truck driven by 58 year old Donald Blair of Freedon, Indiana. Romine was pronounced dead at the scene, while Blair was uninjured.
