County Commission Discusses the Need for a County Administrator

 An impromptu discussion is food for thought for county officials.

 At yesterday's Montgomery County Commission meeting, Commissioners Robert Bever, Jim McManus, and Mike Cordray had a lengthy discussion with Public Works Director about the need for a County Administrator. Bever says there is a need for coordination between the cities within Montgomery County.

Bever says there is a lot to consider before the county could take any action on a new position.

In other business at yesterday's meeting, commissioners heard a report from Chanute CPA firm Jared, Gilmore and Phillips that indicated the county was in good financial shape.
