The 116th Interstate Fair and Rodeo is underway at Walter Johnson Park in Coffeyville. A big part of the fair is the livestock and indoor exhibits by 4-H and FFA members. John Williams of Skiatook, OK, says his 6-year-old daughter Paisley is learning how to show her calf at the fair.
Both Paisley and her older sister are showing cattle at the fair. Paisley says being with her calf is the best part. 4-Hers and FFA members will be showing cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, chickens, geese and rabbits at the fair.
The grandstand events will start tomorrow night with L-J Jenkins Bull Riding and PRCA Rodeo on Wednesday and Thursday. The Demolition Derby rounds out the weekend on Friday and Saturday nights.
