Chautauqua County commissioners canvass the votes from the August 1st primary election.
The county saw a 28% voter turnout, with a total of 195 ballots cast. There were four provisional ballots due to voters moving within the county, however the commissioners approved all four.
Bryan Blankinship and Jack Warren received the top two vote totals for Sedan city mayor, and will advance to the General Election.
Additional items of business at this week's meeting was the approval of a paint estimate from Hired Hands regarding painting and repairing damage to walls in the County Courthouse. The projected time of completion is two to three weeks.
