Boil water advisories are in effect for two cities in southeast Kansas.
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) has issued a boil water advisory for the City of McCune in Crawford County. A boil water advisory also remains in effect for the city of Galena. Residents should boil water for one minute prior to drinking or food preparation or use bottled water. Dispose of ice cubes from trays and automatic ice makers, and disinfect dishes and surfaces used in food preparation. Water is safe for bathing as long as it is not ingested.
