Filing deadlines are coming up for area city offices, and the City of Neodesha has an opening. According to the city, one position on the commission is up for election this year. The commissioner position is a three-year term. Interested candidates must complete and submit the Declaration of Intention and Substantial Interest forms along with a $20 filing fee to the Wilson County Clerk in Fredonia no later than noon on Thursday, June 1st.
