A man wanted on a homicide charge in Kansas City is captured after a standoff in Joplin.

 Tuesday afternoon, Joplin Police was notified that 30-year-old Jalen McDaniel was located in a residence in the 1800 block of North St Charles.

 JPD's Captain Will Davis says the standoff with McDaniel began around 4:30 PM, and ended around 5:30 PM without incident. No timeline was given for McDaniel's extradition back to Kansas City.
