Montgomery County is working on new renovations to county roads, and organized a meeting with the Kansas Department of Transportation to further elaborate on those discussions.

Public Works Director Jim Wright says that KDOT is currently working on a study to recognize necessary improvements, and hopes to be moving forward in the next few months.

Additional items of discussion at the Montgomery County Commission meeting was an update regarding grants for the County Health Department from Carolyn Muller, as well as further conversations with Matt Debo regarding the Solid Waste Plan for Montgomery County.
