Parts of the KGGF listening area are in a dense fog advisory this morning.

Elk, Wilson, Neosho, Chautauqua, Montgomery and Labette counties in Kansas and Osage, Washington and Nowata counties and south all the way to the McAlester area are in a dense fog advisory until 10 a.m.  Visibility has decreased throughout the early morning, from 1.5 miles at 5 a.m. to around a quarter of a mile as of 6 a.m.  If driving, the National Weather Service reminds you to slow down, use your headlights and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
