A Bartlesville teen charged with murder was back in Washington County Court yesterday.

 17-year-old Heidi Dutton is being charged as an adult with the first-degree murder of her grandparents. Court records indicate the murders took place just before Christmas in rural Dewey in northern Washington County.

 Her boyfriend, 20-year-old Lucas Walker of Bartlesville, is named in a federal criminal complaint in connection with the killing of the Duttons. The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Oklahoma says Walker, who is a member of the Cherokee Nation, will be prosecuted under the jurisdiction of the federal government. His next court date is set for May 23.
