Two men wanted for attempted murder in Louisiana are found in Joplin.

Jasper County Sheriff Randee Kaiser says the Jasper County Sheriff's Department received information late last week from the U.S. Marshall’s Office in Louisiana that two suspects they were looking for may be at an address in Jasper County. Deputies located the vehicle at 898 North Sunny Slope Lane in Joplin.

26-year-old Daulton Andrews of Leesville Louisiana and 18-year-old Miguel Zarate Guajardo Junior of Deridder, Louisiana were taken into custody for felony warrants for attempted first-degree murder and criminal conspiracy from the Vernon Parrish Sheriff’s Office Louisiana.

Both men were transported to the Jasper County Detention Center in Carthage, awaiting extradition to Louisiana.
