Grove Voters Decide New School Issue April 4th

Voters in Grove, Oklahoma will vote on April 4th on a bond for a new high school and remodeling of their current high school to house the junior high.

Superintendent Pat Dodson says the current capacity for all schools is 85%, with the high school currently at 96%. The junior class is the only class not at capacity. The proposed 87.2 million dollar bond would also fund a new gym and practice facilities for 7th through 12th grades.

Dodson says the new high school would also create space and help the middle and elementary schools. He says the investment in kids would pay dividends because it would create opportunities for all students.
