Lanes on U.S. 169 north of Coffeyville will soon be reduced for a roadwork project.

According to the Kansas Department of Transportation, sections of 169 and 166 at the junction north of Coffeyville and continuing north on 169 to the end of Potato Creek bridge are getting resurfaced. Starting Monday, traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction on the four-lane highway sections. Flaggers and a pilot car will direct traffic as needed on the two-lane section. Weather permitting, the $3 million project should be finished by May.
