A large number of incoming and departing personnel was announced at the USD 446 board meeting.

The district will see 14 employees resign, and 20 new individuals begin working with the schools. Some of the new employees will begin straight away, while others won't start until the start of the 2023-2024 school year.

A few of the notable additions to the district are John Barnes as a middle school science teacher, Turner Campbell as the high school soccer coach, Kendall Fiscus as a high school social studies teacher, Deja Keuhn as a high school math teacher, and Whitney Woodward as a middle school social studies teacher.

Additional items of discussion at the USD 446 March board meeting were finalizing details for the High School Career Fair on Wednesday, as well as additional updates on the Early Learning Center building progress. USD 446 meets on the second Monday of each month at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of Independence High School.
