An Independence man is arrested after failing to appear in Neosho County.

 Independence PD was called just after 5:30 Friday afternoon to the 100 block of South Wald Street in reference a past theft. While in the area, 21-year-old Willie Smith was located. Smith had a warrant out of Neosho County for Failure to Appear. Smith was arrested and later released to Neosho County officials.
