The City of Independence is celebrating St. Patrick's Day this year with a Pub Crawl throughout the downtown area.

 

Tonight from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. the downtown district will be electric with live music, drinks, and special prizes. Chamber of Commerce President Lisa Wilson says there are seven businesses participating in the pub crawl.

 

You can pick up a pub pass for the event at either the Chamber office or the Main Street office in Independence. Passes are $10 to participate, and Wilson says that if you fill out your pass, there are exciting prizes up for grabs.

 

There will also be live music tonight, with Traci and the Time Travelers playing at Uncle Jack's from 8 p.m. until 11.
