A Bartlesville man is facing theft and drug charges after taking a vehicle without permission Tuesday morning.

 Bartlesville Police were dispatched around 2:30 am to the 400 block of SW 10th Street in reference to a vehicle theft. Arrest records show Ernest Taylor Marshall was in possession of a BMW and a cell phone that were not his. The victim reported they did not give Marshall permission to take the vehicle or the phone. During the stop, police found the victim's cell phone and a backpack belonging to Marshall. Inside the backpack were a white powdery substance, syringes with liquid inside, and a glass pipe.

 Marshall is being charged with vehicle theft, possession of controlled dangerous substances, larceny, and possession of paraphernalia. He is currently being held on a $30,000 bond. His next court date is set for March 24th.
