Wilson County will begin to proceed with a pair of new Neighborhood Revitalization Plan projects.

 

County Coordinator Kris Marple presented the applications for both Larry Lever Jr, as well as First Step Home Builders. The projects were unanimously decided to carry by the commissioners, and the county will move forward with the plan.

 

Additional items of discussion at the Wilson County Commission Meeting was the presentation of a right-of-way permit by Road and Bridge Supervisor Kary Tatum, for River Rock to fix a gas line leak. Tatum also reported that Trans Systems had completed the Local Road Safety Plan for the County.

 

The commissioners also received reports from the Health Department, County Appraiser, GIS department, and the 911 call log.

 

There will be no meeting next week on March 15th. The next meeting will be March 22nd at 9 a.m. in the Wilson County Courthouse.
