A Bartlesville man has been arrested on burglary charges.
35-year-old Kirby Bailey Jr. was arrested Thursday evening around 7:00 p.m. by Bartlesville PD. Court records say the homeowner's son called police when he saw a person in the kitchen through his security camera. That person was Bailey Jr. When an officer arrived, he saw Bailey Jr walking through the front yard of the residence and was detained. Bradley Thompson, the son of the homeowner and house caretaker after his father's passing, arrived and identified Bailey, Jr.
Bailey Jr. was sitting on the front lawn next to two Victorian-style lamps taken from the residence. BPD later discovered Bailey Jr. had already been convicted of burglary. He is currently being held on a $20,000 bond. His first court date was last Friday, with his next court date set for March 24th.
