A man is seriously injured in an accident sustained after a chase through Coffeyville.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 40-year-old Layton Moore of Pryor was riding a motorcycle westbound on 11th, fleeing from law enforcement last night just before 10 p.m. Near where 8th and 11th streets come together on the west side of town, Moore's motorcycle struck a curb and overturned multiple times, coming to rest on the shoulder. Moore was taken to a Tulsa hospital with a suspected serious injury. He was not wearing a helmet.
