A Kansas City man has been sentenced for robbing a Joplin bank.

 59-year-old Leland Scott Graham was sentenced to eight years in federal prison without parole for the July 19th, 2021 robbery of Great Southern Bank in Joplin. Several hours before on the same day, Graham robbed Landmark National Bank in Louisburg. This isn't the first time Graham has been connected to Great Southern Bank in Joplin. He was convicted in 2004 of robbing GSB in Joplin and First State Bank of Joplin and sentenced to 20 years in state prison.
