A Missouri man is arrested after breaking into multiple vehicles and stealing items from a convenience store.

At around 7:30am this morning, Galena Police Department officers were dispatched in reference to a male subject attempting to get into multiple vehicles. Video footage was collected and the suspect was located at Casey's. During questioning, 19-year-old Hunter Parman, of Carthage, fled on foot. After a brief chase was taken into custody. It was also discovered that the suspect had stolen items from the Casey’s.

At the jail, Parman was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and fentanyl. He is facing charges of two counts of attempted burglary of a vehicle, theft, interference with law enforcement, possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia and trafficking drugs into a correctional facility.
