The Noel Police Department is investigating the death of a man found in a burning shed.

 A call came into McDonald County 911 just before 7:00 Sunday morning reporting a structure fire on North Kings Highway and Railroad Street in Noel. The  Noel Fire Department responded and found a shed fully engulfed in flames. When fire crews arrived to extinguish the fire, a subject was discovered that had perished in the fire.

 The Missouri State Fire Marshal will assist with the investigation. Officials believe the deceased was living inside the shed. 

An autopsy will be conducted this week.
