The Dobson Museum in Miami is taking big steps to move to a temporary location.

According to the museum, staff and volunteers have been working over the past several weeks to pack items and preparing for the move. Earlier this week, several loads were taken from the current museum to the annex downtown, which will serve as a temporary home while the museum undergoes renovations. The museum would like to thank the Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College students and volunteers who helped with the move.

The museum will reopen March 1st at the temporary location of 23 N. Main in Miami. The museum at 110 A Street SW will be renovated during 2023 and 2024.
