Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach joins a 21-state coalition challenging the Environmental Social Governance practices of two proxy advisory companies.

 

A proxy advisory firm advises institutional investors on how to vote on the thousands of shareholder resolutions that arise.

 

A letter sent by the coalition states, that the actions of the two companies, International Shareholder Services, Inc. and Class, Lewis and Co. threaten the economic value of our States’ and citizens’ investments and pensions and that monetary interests that may take second place to their social and environmental beliefs, or those of their clients.
