The Montgomery County Commissioners received the final 2022 statistics and information for the county website today.

 

County GIS Director Anne Miller is in charge of tracking information such as website traffic, common searched words and departments, and which staff members are the most searched. Miller shared which search engines are being used to find the county website.  Miller says the search engine statistic is important for the county because it can portray how users are interacting and locating information.

 

Miller also says that the home page continues to be the most viewed page on the website, and that other department pages tend to vary throughout the year.

 

Additional items of discussion at this week's county commissioner meeting were the purchase approval of new laptops for the 14th District Community Correction Department and Director Duane Powell, as well as an update from Public Works Director Jim Wright.

 

Montgomery County Commissioner meetings take place in the lower level of the Judicial Center in downtown Independence on Mondays at 9 a.m. All meetings are open to the public, as well as streamed on Facebook and Zoom.
