Senator Virgil Peck will be testifying in Topeka before the Senate Tax Committee to start the 2023 legislative session. Peck is the lead proponent of SB 29; a bill to provide a 4-day back-to-school sales tax holiday in early August.

This is the Senator’s 8th attempt to pass legislation that would provide parents, grandparents, and others a tax cut when they purchase school supplies, clothing, computers, and computer peripheral devices.

Peck will testify this Thursday, January 19^th.
