The USD 445 Board of Education elected a new president and vice president for the new year.

Former President Darryl Harbaugh nominated Jason Barnett to serve as the new board president. Barnett was voted on unanimously to fill that role. President Barnett then nominated Harbaugh to fill the role of vice president and he was also unanimously approved by the board. Board Member Bob Roesky was chosen unanimously to continue his role as the representative to Tri-County Special Education Cooperative.

In other business, the board heard an update from Student Services and approved the contract extensions for a number of administrators and directors in the district.
