Montgomery County delegated new board assignments for the 2023 calendar year at today's Commissioner meeting.

 

County Commissioner Robert Bever says that there will be two additions to the county department employees, with Paul Kritz serving as County Counselor, and Lavern Strecker serving as In-House Auditor.

 

Bever says that the Commissioners also decided which county boards each of them would be assigned to for 2023.

 

Additional topics of discussion at this week's meeting were the approval of a Neighborhood Revitalization Project at 3394 County Road 2200 in Independence, the issuing of a Cereal Malt Beverage License to AKAS I LLC, a state liability company, and an update on the change of status of the Support Service Officer in Emergency Management from Director Rick Whitson.

 

Montgomery County Commissioner meetings take place on Mondays at 9 a.m. in the lower level of the Judicial Center in downtown Independence. All meetings are open to the public, and also streamed on Facebook and Zoom.
