The U.S. House of Representatives continues to be split on a decision to name the next Speaker of the House.

 

Oklahoma District 2 Congressman Josh Brecheen says he's not completely against Republican House leader Kevin McCarthy, and the most important thing is to come to a solution.

 

Today marks the fourth day the House is attempting to elect a new Republican speaker. Current numbers show that approximately 20 Conservative House representatives fear McCarthy is not conservative enough.

 

Brecheen says that the future of the country is more important to him than his own personal future in politics.
