The Kansas State Library allows Kansans to pose questions or concerns to Legislators. The toll-free Legislative Hotline is answered by experienced reference and research librarians at the State Library. Citizens can find out the status of bills, where to find historic information and other Kansas government-related questions.

The Hotline is open Monday-Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. After-hours constituents can leave a brief message for their legislators, or for a librarian’s response.
