The Montgomery County Commissioners met to discuss and review the 4th quarter abatement totals in the county.

 

The meeting was rescheduled to this morning due to the New Years holiday being observed at the county office during the normal Monday meeting time.

 

Topics of discussion at this week's meeting were the resolution of an 8% salary increase for employees with Human Resources Director Becky Lewis, a presentation from the Community Corrections staff of Dennis Webb and Duane Powell regarding county roles and responsibilities, and the official review and approval of the Quarter 4 abatement totals for Montgomery County.

 

County Commissioner meetings take place on Mondays at 9 a.m. in the lower level of the Judicial Center in downtown Independence. All meetings are open to the public, as well as streamed live on Facebook and Zoom.
