Missing too many days of school can have an impact on a student's success both in the classroom and in the future. USD 445 Superintendent Dr. Craig Correll says missing just a couple of days each month can really add up.
Dr. Correll says there is a correlation between students' attendance and graduation rates. Dr. Correll says, in addition to missing out academically, low attendance can also set a pattern in behavior. He says employers want to hire graduates who value attendance and understand that it is a life skill.
