Winter Storm Arrives: Updated Snowfall Information

 

The four states are in the middle of a winter storm that will last through tonight, with wind chill warnings that will continue through tomorrow.  In Kansas and Oklahoma, wind chills will be between 20 and 30 degrees below zero at times through Friday at midday.

 

 

Snowfall forecasts have been updated, with two to three inches of snow possible for Coffeyville.  Timing of the off-and-on snow will be between now and 1 p.m. this afternoon for southeast Kansas.  

 

 

In addition, a winter weather advisory has been issued for northeast Oklahoma, parts of northwest Arkansas, and southwest Missouri.  Some of southeast Kansas is also included in the winter weather advisory including Cherokee and Crawford counties.  Stay tuned to KGGF for continued updates on this winter weather.  Weather-related closings can be found here.
