Dive Sober or Get Pulled Over

The Kansas Department of Transportation in conjunction with law enforcement agencies across the state hope you don’t make a deadly decision this holiday season.

Officers will be especially focused from this Friday, December 16th to January 1st to remove impaired drivers from Kansas’s roads. According to KDOT, there were 18 people killed, and more than 700 were injured from over 2,000 crashes during the same 15-day time frame last year.

KDOT Behavioral Safety Manager Gary Herman says it’s so important that drivers act responsibly and never drive impaired from any impairing substance.

The “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” campaign is funded by federal traffic safety funds and administered by KDOT.
