K-DOT Constuction Projects Approved

 

The Kansas Department of Transportation announces approved bids for the latest state highway construction and maintenance projects.

 

In Bourbon County, two bridges will be replaced, one located over Owl Creek on K-39, two miles east of the K-3 junction, and the other located over Paint Creek on K-3, just north of the Crawford County line.

 

 In Cherokee County, the pavement will be replaced on Highway 69, from the Oklahoma/Kansas state line north to the south city limits of Columbus, and from the north city limits of Columbus north to the
K-7/U.S. 160/U.S. 69 junction.

 

 In Crawford County, the pavement will be replaced on K-47, from the Neosho/Crawford county line east to the west city limits of Girard.

 

 In Neosho County, 11.1 miles of payment will be overlaid on K-47, beginning at the U.S. 169/K-47 junction east to the north U.S. 59/K-47 junction.
