A Coffeyville man was arrested for alleged abuse of a child and alleged abandonment of a child. The Coffeyville Police Department also charged 27-year-old Lucas Cox with alleged possession of opiates and paraphernalia and allegedly operating a vehicle without a valid license or liability insurance. Reports of the arrest have been sent to the prosecuting attorney for review and formal charges.
