With the current rate of inflation affecting consumer goods, there are an increasing number of people needing help to get by.  There’s a new group in Coffeyville that has formed to meet those needs.  Working out of the Holly House and using federal funds with guidance from the University of Kansas the group’s goal is to make an impact.  Founding Member Pastor Doug Mund says they work hard to help people who are not just trying to work the system.

Mund says that with the increasing Hispanic population they are serving more of that population, especially Guatemalans because of the harsh living conditions there.  Mund and Linda Follett with the group spoke to the Coffeyville Rotary Club during their noon meeting.
