Bartlesville Water Service Restored After Main Break This Morning

Repairs have been made and water service should be back to normal after a water main break this morning in Bartlesville.  That's according to Elaine Baines with the City of Bartlesville.

This morning, the break in the 800 block of SE Washington Boulevard across from Walmart created disruptions for water customers, some businesses and the Bartlesville  Public Schools.  Superintendent Chuck McCauley announced shortly before 8 a.m. this morning in a text that classes at all campuses were called off due to the low water pressure.  McCauley said it is a health and safety issue when students can't get a drink of water or use the restroom, let alone trying to use water in case of a fire.
