A Kansas Supreme Court Justice visited the campus of Independence Community College.

Justice Melissa Standridge met with students, faculty and staff to discuss how the court system interacts with other branches of government and how the courts impact everyday lives. She answered questions and informed students on who their government representatives were for life after ICC.

Vice President for Student Affairs David Adams says students interacting and asking questions with a member of the highest court in Kansas was an important experience for students.
