Parsons will kick off it’s first “5th Friday” event tomorrow evening. The Executive Director of the Parsons Chamber, Liz Cochran says it will be a fun night in a relaxing atmosphere with live music, vendors, open businesses and drinks from downtown establishments.
Two blocks of Main and 18th Streets will be blocked off to traffic beginning at 4:30 to allow for set up and during the event itself. Cochran says that 5th Friday events are already being planned for next year beginning in March with months that have five Fridays.
